Condé Nast Traveller | NuLu feature | January 2014

England’s own Condé Nast Traveller magazine recently came to Louisville and thoroughly enjoyed themselves in our up and coming neighborhood, NuLu. They visited some shops that have been here for decades like Joe Ley Antiques and Muth’s Candy as well as new places like Please & Thank You. This is what writer, Zach Everson, had to say about us.

“From the outside it looks inauspicious compared to newer openings, but Chef Bruce Ucán’s reproductions of ancient Mayan recipes using local ingredients made this restaurant a go-to spot when the neighborhood wasn’t. Tok-sel lima (roasted lima beans cooked in sesame oil with green onions, lime juice and pumpkin seeds) is among the most craved dishes in a city that loves to eat.”
