We are so honored to have been named Edible Louisville’s Local Hero for Chef/Restaurant for the 3rd time! This award means a great deal to Chef Bruce because of his personal dedication to local sourcing. You can find him most Saturday mornings at the farmer’s markets, often accompanied by his two small daughters who are assuredly eating their way through the market stands. Since December of 2008, we have committed to serving exclusively locally-sourced and sustainably-raised meats everyday of the year. The bulk of our produce also comes from local farms. 
Edible Louisville shared Bruce’s vision for local foods. “We believe that food is health. Sourcing from local, sustainable farms is our way of positively affecting the health of our customers. Supporting other small businesses and farms in our area means that we will continue to have sustainable sources of quality ingredients. Our restaurant is one of the pieces in this overall community that has the capability to change the way people understand, relate to, and benefit from food.”
