On September 24, 2016 we catered Staci & Mike’s wedding reception at the Tim Faulkner Gallery in Louisville’s Portland neighborhood. Staci & Mike had gotten married in Las Vegas a few weeks prior as much of their family was on the west coast. This reception in Louisville was intended to be a fun gathering for their friends and family in Louisville. The gallery is a mixed use space of art and music, so they accentuated the space with a circus theme incorporating a popcorn machine, a caricature artist, a donut truck and even fire breathers. The food complemented the vibe as well, beginning with a great appetizer spread and later moving into a taco bar with lots of fun sauces and sides. Instead of a guest book, the guests signed a painting of Louisville made by a local artist. The tablets were lined with black and white stripes with pops of red. The space was festive and bright and the guests ate, drank and danced inside and outside all night long. Staci & Mike were such a delight to work with and we loved their vision for the evening!
