Blueberry-Jasmine Shrub Cocktail Recipe

The inspiration for this early summer cocktail came from a trip  our general manager took to a small-batch vinegar shop in the area. Capshew Cellars is located in southern, Indiana and has a really great story. Bob Capshew, the owner, has been making small-batch vinegar and fruit wines for years, and his products are standing to become known throughout the area. This cocktail incorporates some of his blueberry shrub, which is a blend of vinegar, sugar and macerated blueberries. We suggest using an organic vodka like Rain Organic or 360 Organic.


1.5 oz vodka
1/2 oz FruitLab jasmine
1/2 oz blueberry shrub
Handful of fresh blueberries
Splash club soda

Pour the vodka, jasmine liqueur, shrub and blueberries in a cocktail shaker with a scoop of ice.
Shake well.
Pour into in a highball glass
Top with a splash of club soda
