Mayan Martini recipe

In December 2012, we celebrated (making it through!) the end of the Mayan calendar with this signature martini. Learn to make it at home and impress your friends with your cocktail-making skills!

Mayan Martini
2 oz. Bombay dry gin
1 oz. Carpano Antico sweet Vermouth
1 pickled jalapeño*
1/2 oz. pickling juice
(serve in rocks glass, with ice)


*Pickled Jalapeños
12 small, raw jalapeños, washed and sliced in half
3 oz El Jimador tequila
8 oz water
4 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz peppercorns
1/2 oz salt
1.5 oz sugar
1 oz white vinegar
*Let soak for 1-2 days before serving. Lasts for 1 month
