We were all excited here in Louisville when our hometown girl, Damaris Phillips, was on Food Network Star in this recent season 9. And we were ecstatic when she won!! Dana McMahan, a food writer we know and love, got a chance to interview her recently and learn Damaris’s favorite spots around the city. Among her favorite categories (best bourbons, best brew, best breakfast, etc) she listed Mayan Cafe as the best fancy dinner restaurant in town. We were so honored that she chose us!
