On Friday, June 5, we had the pleasure of catering Stephanie & Bryce’s wedding at the Marcus Lindsey on Main St in NuLu. They were such a laid back couple who knew what was important to them and how to make a great party! We really loved working with them. We began the evening with several appetizers (of course our yummy guacamole!) and the couple had created several signature cocktails along with a killer red sangria that set the tone for a night of good food & drinks. One of our favorite things to do to mix up a standard buffet at weddings is a quesadilla bar where our chef, Bruce, makes quesadillas on site. This time we did chicken and veggie quesadillas with a whole slew of different salsas to dip them in. With lots of kids at the reception, these were a real hit! Later, we brought out some more food on the buffet and everyone just kept on eating. It’s a fun, casual feel to have three distinct courses with lots of choices of food for the guests to enjoy. Everyone danced and drank late into the night in this gorgeous old church.
