We are getting ready to spice up your winter season with some fantastic specials, starting this November and going through February!
NOVEMBER & DECEMBER
For the holiday season, we will be featuring an amazing winter sangria with notes of cinnamon, orange & apple. We are also doing a wine and mole sauce flight. This is a play on a training we do with our staff when they first start with us. Our sauces are where Chef Bruce’s artistry really come out, so their depth and complexity make them perfect to pair with wine. In the food space, we’re bringing back an oldie but a goodie with our beloved seafood bisque. Lamb is a wonderful meat to celebrate the holidays with, so, we are very excited to be serving Faul Family Riverside Farm braised lamb shoulder over a creamy pumpkin seed hummus. Finish off your meal with a sweet treat of a Louisville Cream inspired ice cream sandwich. We will be pairing their peppermint ice cream with our catering head chef’s sorghum cookies.

JANUARY & FEBRUARY
January & February may be the coldest and darkest months of the year, but not at Mayan Cafe! We are already planning for some delicious specials that also happen to be fairly healthy. Start your evening out right with our cozy hot toddy or fresh rosemary & ginger sangria. Warm up over a bowl of butternut squash bisque and then dive into our entrée special complete with local spaghetti squash tossed with grilled Verlasso salmon, kale and a spicy cayenne puree. Try another version of our homemade ice cream sandwich with Louisville Cream’s cinnamon ice cream. Winter can really be this fun; we promise!
