On Friday, July 17, 2015, we had the true pleasure of catering Lindsey & Ben’s rehearsal dinner at the Green Building, Louisville’s only LEED platinum certified building. We are lucky that’s it just one block from our restaurant! Lindsey & Ben are very interested in the ideas of sustainability and organics, so our food was a natural fit with their values. They created a delightful evening with their families and friends, using both the outside courtyard at the Green Building as well as the gallery and atrium areas inside. Cocktail hour began in the courtyard with shrimp ceviche, guacamole & potato-chorizo fritters. The guests then moved inside for an incredible buffet spread (see menu below) along with the most amazing bread pudding drowned in dulce de leche for dessert. They put together a poignant video of memories of the lives and shared toasts with their families. It was a lovely evening for two lovely people, and we were honored to be a part of it.
