May 2017 Features : asparagus

This month, we are featuring asparagus in all of our special dishes. Asparagus is the first sign of spring with its crisp stalks appearing at the farmer’s market stands. The spinach and carrots we’re featuring this month are also fresh at this time of year. You don’t need to do much to these vegetables to show off their beauty – a little bit of salt and lime does them justice. This delightful French white blend is a true patio wine and pairs so nicely with both this hearty spring salad and our chicken entree. Cheers to spring and to Derby!
