NuLu Neighborhood Night | Wednesdays in March

NuLu after Dark

We have seen this neighborhood grow and change immensely over the 17 years we’ve been serving Mayan food on East Market. There have been days when the streets were quiet and businesses were closing, and more recently, there are times when the streets are so packed with life and activity you can barely find a parking spot. And not just on Trolley Hop nights!  For a long while, there were only a couple blocks of retail business, but now stores and shops are opening on side streets, further west on Market and even on Main St.  Recognized on the national scene (Conde Nast Traveller) and celebrated locally (Leo Weekly), this neighborhood really has something special.

Sangria Specials Many of you have witnessed these changes right along with us. Some have lived in the Butchertown neighborhood for years, while others are recent transplants to Louisville and attracted to the area by these recent developments. We LOVE that the condos, lofts & apartments surrounding us are bursting at the seams – SoHo Lofts, Mercantile Lofts, Whiskey Row Lofts, and many more.  We want to pay tribute to the amazing energy that all of you bring to this area.

So, we are created NuLu Neighborhood Night – Wednesdays in March from 8-10pm. Stop by these evenings for our taco and sangria specials, greet your neighbors and make new friends. Nothing too crazy, nothing too fancy. Just a few hours set aside to chill out with the good folks that make up this outstanding neighborhood.
