5.16.15 | Tiffany & Jon’s Wedding

In May of 2015, we had the pleasure of catering Tiffany & Jon’s wedding at Yew Dell Gardens in Crestwood, KY. These two wanted to create a casual feel for the reception that took advantage of the natural beauty of
the gardens and setting at Yew Dell. They had the ceremony in the Holly Alley under a tent (it stopped drizzling just as the ceremony began, what luck!) Then, they moved onto the pavilion for cocktails and appetizers. We setup hightop tables on both the pavilion and in the sunken garden so the guests could casually mingle about. The dinner tables and buffet were set in the barn where their dinner began with the groom’s sister playingTIffany & Jon's wedding a lovely classical piece on the piano (one that the bride and groom had both danced to as they were dancers). After a delicious dinner complete with our famous tok-sel lima beans & fried plantains, everyone enjoyed the most amazing cupcakes provided by a co-worker of the bride. When dancing began on the patio outside, no one seemed to mind that it started to sprinkle again; in fact, it almost made the night that much more magical. What a lovely setting for a lovely couple!
